Joseph T. Burkhard, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, AEP, LUTCF is a seasoned insurance and investment professional.  He focuses in helping successful people and businesses with the accumulation, management, and preservation of their wealth.

A native of Clark, NJ, Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University in 1993, where he was also Capitan of the 1991 Big East Champion Soccer Team. He started his financial services career in 1993 with Phoenix Home Life/W.S. Griffith, Inc. where he worked for 8 years. 

In 2001, Joe left Phoenix Home Life and co-founded The Strategic Wealth Group, an insurance and investment firm. Shortly thereafter, Joe and his colleagues at Strategic Wealth Group became an office of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company where he is a leading producer. Over Joe’s 19 year career he has been the recipient of numerous industry awards and has been a perennial MetLife President’s Conference qualifier.

Joe is an active member of his community. He is Vice President of the Clark Soccer Club and coaches baseball, basketball and soccer. Joe resides in his hometown Clark, NJ with his wife Jill and their three children, Sammy, Rachel and Alison.
